Coastal Hotel Group Creates "Go Green" Package

SEATTLE - (April 8, 2010) - Coastal Hotel Group, a privately held Seattle-based hospitality management company, is offering guests a way to save some green with the "Go Green" package for stays of two or more nights at any of its four premier properties: Cedarbrook Lodge in Seattle, Hotel Fifty in Portland, Ore., The Resort at The Mountain in Welches (Mt. Hood), Ore. and Lodge on the Desert in Tucson, Ariz.

Guests who book the package will experience an environmentally-friendly paperless check-in and a reduced housekeeping service of daily trash removal. The Resort at The Mountain, Cedarbrook Lodge and Lodge on the Desert guests will also enjoy eco-friendly Green Natüra bath amenities, which are environmentally safe and packaged in biodegradable bottles, reducing environmental impact and promoting a sustainable future.

With 15 percent of water use going toward laundry, hotel representatives estimate reducing housekeeping service at each of the four properties could save more than $93,000 annually.

"Reduced housekeeping allows us to save on water and sewer while doing something great for the earth," said Yogi Hutsen, president of Coastal Hotel Group. "We'd like to thank our guests for helping us do our part for the environment by passing that savings onto them."

The Go Green package starts at $95 per night with a minimum stay of two nights and is available through June 30, 2010. For more information and for reservations, visit http://www.CoastalHotels.com.
